Your Solatube® Daylighting System is supplied with a warranty card; please either complete the online product registration form left or complete the card supplied (retain the tear-off maintance section) and post it to:

Solatube warrants systems to be free from defects of workmanship and/or material for a period of time from the date of purchase:

10 years for daylighting system components and 5 years for electrical accessories unless otherwise noted.

 

Daylighting system components consist of roof domes, roof flashing, diffusers and diffuser mountings, reflective tubing, seals, gaskets, tapes and fasteners.

 

Should any products be determined by Solatube to be defective, at the option of Solatube, such products shall be replaced or repaired and returned to the buyer free from defect.

 

Buyers should report to SolaLighting Limited within 30 days of discovering fault.

 

SOLATUBE MAINTENANCE GUIDE

Cleaning:

To remove the diffuser on the Solatube 160 DS or 290 DS, carefully pull the diffuser down by the white trim ring. The diffuser will separate from the ceiling ring.

To clean, wipe the diffuser with a soft cloth. Do not use any cleaning solution.

To replace the diffuser, position the diffuser onto the perimeter edge of the ceiling ring and push on the diffuser ring until it snaps into position. Do not push on the diffuser lens.

 

Light kit:

To replace the light bulb, follow the instructions above to remove/replace the diffuser and replace the bulb (maximum 75 Watt).

 

Ventilation unit:

The external surfaces of the ventilation unit may be cleaned with a damp cloth.
