Solatube® Daylighting Systems gain BBA Certification
The British Board of Agrément (BBA) is the UK’s major authority offering approval of construction products, systems and installers. Solatube Daylighting Systems are the first rigid, tubular daylighting devices to achieve this prestigious recognition. During the rigorous 2-year testing programme, the BBA tested the performance levels of Solatube patented dome technologies. They also verified the 99.7% reflective value of Spectralight® Infinity, the tube material used in all Solatube Daylighting Systems.
Since 1966 Agrément Certificates have been providing invaluable information on the performance of new construction products and materials, ensuring that the product is fit for purpose.
The BBA is proud of its reputation for integrity and its absolute independence and impartiality is recognised throughout the construction industry in the UK and beyond. Solatube is proud to be the recipient of this prestigious certification.
The BBA Certificate is split into two parts; the first is for the Solatube Brighten Up® Series, the 250 and 350mm diameter systems, with the second certificate covering the Solatube 330 DS (530mm diameter) system. This was done to make it easier to differentiate the unique product features of each the Solatube Daylighting Systems.
