Solatube® electric daylight dimmer
A low voltage electric daylight dimmer is available for both the Solatube® Brighten Up® Series and Solamaster® Series. It integrates neatly into the Solatube® and is controlled via a low voltage wall-mounted pressure switch to regulate the amount of daylight coming through the Solatube® – fully open, fully closed or any point between. An additional benefit of the Solatube® daylight dimmer is that it can prevent light pollution at night by closing off the tube and preventing night lighting from transferring up the tube.
Perfect for hospitals, presentation rooms, indeed anywhere you need to reduce or block out the daylight. The variable position butterfly baffle with 8-second cycle is operated via a wall mounted switch and is CE approved.
A master switch can control multiple dimmers with 'daisy chain' low voltage wiring between relay terminals to each unit.
Power supply - input 90-277 VAC (+/-10%); 50/60Hz, output 5 volts DC 100mA.
Solatube® electric light kit
An integral electric light kit is available for the Solatube® Brighten Up® Series. Primarily for domestic applications, it offers the convenience of a switched electric light for night time use, reducing the need for two separate ceiling fixtures.
The Solatube® electric light kit can accommodate any Edison screw lamps up to 75W. We recommend using low energy compact fluorescent lamps or the stunning LED lamp (as shown) to save energy. Please note, this LED lamp is not a Solatube component.
Solatube® bathroom ventilation kit
A fully integral bathroom ventilation kit is available for the Brighten Up® Series Solatube® 160 DS. It comprises a stylish low profile design with powerful, in-line patented twin blade fan and is ideal for en-suite bathrooms, shower rooms and WCs where it may be combined with the optional electric light kit for a neat 3-in-1 ceiling fixture. The bathroom ventilation kit is available with the standard Vusion™ diffuser or optional OptiView® diffuser (shown).
CE approved and complies with Building Regulations on Ventilation (F1 2006), rated to IP44 and tested to comply with EN60 335-2-80:1997 and EN60 335-1: 1994+A1, A11 to A14. The in-line fan motor may be positioned up to 2 metres from the ceiling vent with ducting provided. The high performance motor extracts up to 52 litres per second. Options for this bathroom ventilation kit include universal roof exit vent for pitched roof applications, PIR timer switch, push button timer switch and pull cord timer switch.
