Solatube® purchasing questions
How much does a Solatube® Daylighting System cost?
Solatube® Daylighting Systems start at £199 + VAT for the Solatube® 160 DS and £259 + VAT for the Solatube® 290 DS.
The exact cost of your Solatube® Daylighting System is determined by the size (diameter) you require, the length of tubing required and the roof flashing type.
Please see our guide on specifying your Solatube® to find out the size, tube length and flashing you require. Once you know your requirements, our Solatube® price list will give you the exact cost.
How do I place my order?
The simplest way to place your order is to call us on 01234 241466. We can take your order over the telephone and answer any questions you may have. We accept payment by most credit and debit cards, and cheques (we await clearance of cheques before dispatch of goods – usually a minimum of three working days). For credit/debit card orders received before midday we can offer next working day delivery at no additional charge. Alternatively, if you know exactly what you require, you may send in your order with cheque (payable to SolaLighting Limited) via post to SolaLighting Limited, 23 Osier Way, Olney Office Park, Olney, MK46 5FP.
What about delivery?
There is a packing and delivery charge of £20.00 +VAT per system for mainland UK (offshore & Scottish Highlands incur additional charges). For credit/debit card orders received before midday we can offer next working day delivery at no additional charge. All deliveries need to be signed for, and standard deliveries are made between 9.00am and 5.30pm. Specially timed deliveries can be arranged for before 10.00am or midday weekdays, and Saturday morning delivery. Please ask for costs when you place your order or see our Price guide page.
Customers should not accept delivery of the products if there is any damage to the external packaging, but should instead reject the products with the courier and notify Solalighting Limited immediately of rejection together with details of the damage. If the customer fails to do this he is deemed to have accepted the products. Deliveries are made by a designated national courier. Times quoted for delivery are treated as estimates only. We will make all reasonable endeavours to deliver on time but will not be responsible for any loss or damage caused to customers by late delivery.
Cancellations & Returns
Under the Distance Selling Regulations, UK consumers have the legal right to cancel their order within seven working days of receipt of the goods. Please contact us on 01234 241466 as soon as possible if you wish to cancel or return any item. You may be asked to confirm the cancellation or return in writing. The packaging may be opened, but the goods should not be used. Items should be in a resaleable condition and returned to SolaLighting's offices or collection arrangements made promptly at the customer's cost. Products returned to the Company in perfect condition will receive a refund of the price paid, less any charge for packing and delivery. We recommend you insure any goods returned as goods damaged in transit are the responsibility of the customer until verified by SolaLighting Limited to be in a resaleable condition. SolaLighting Limited reserves the right to charge a handling and restocking charge of 20% of the invoice price for goods returned outside the seven working day period.
