Solatube® bathroom ventilation kit
Available for the Solatube® 160 DS, this innovative bathroom ventilation kit integrates fully into your Solatube® Daylighting System offering a neat, stylish solution for lighting and ventilating your bathroom or en-suite. The in-line fan ventilates efficiently through the one ceiling fitting, and it may also be combined with the optional electric light kit to provide a truly multi-functional system. Available with Vusion™ or OptiView® diffuser.
The in-line fan motor extracts up to 52 litres of air per second and may be positioned up to 2 metres from the ceiling vent with ducting provided. CE approved and complies with Building Regulations on Ventilation (F1 2006), rated to IP44 and tested to comply with EN60 335-2-80:1997 and EN60 335-1: 1994+A1, A11 to A14. It is supplied with a non-timed pull cord switch and carries a 5 year electrical component warranty. Electrical wiring must be undertaken by a suitably qualified person.
PIR timer switch*
This motion detector switches on the fan as someone enters the room and then allows it to run for a pre-set time before turning off.
Push-button timer switch*
This Zone 3-safe push button adjustable timer is wall mounted and can be located inside or outside the bathroom.
Pull-cord timer switch*
Ceiling-mounted pull-cord adjustable time switch.
Universal roof exit vent*
The Solatube® bathroom ventilation kit comes with a fascia/soffit exit vent as standard. However, if you require the exit vent to be positioned on the roof, we can supply a universal roof exit vent that will interface with any pitched roof type.
