Approved installation service
In most areas of the UK, we can arrange for an approved, independent installer to fit your Solatube® Daylighting System quickly and efficiently with the minimum of disruption. Please advise us when you order your Solatube® Daylighting System that you require installation and we will provide details of your nearest installer.
Installation charges are around £300 plus VAT per system, subject to confirmation, for a typical application such as a bungalow or two storey house where roof access is straightforward.
Whilst our installer network is independent, they are all approved and trained in the installation of Solatube® systems, carry full insurance indemnity and provide guarantees for the work they carry out. They are – generally – not qualified electricians, however, so under current legislation they are not permitted to carry out electrical wiring. Please take this into account if any electrical work needs to be undertaken for the installation of your Solatube® Daylighting System (for example, to connect an electric light kit, daylight dimmer or bathroom ventilation kit), you will need to appoint a suitably qualified person to carry out this work.
